Draft… Cloudy, deeply golden ale with a small, frothy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is a strange, but welcomed blend of buttery popcorn, sourmash and boiled grain with a moderate fruit component. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with gentle carbonation. The modestly tangy flavor offers spent mash, buttery popcorn, a whisper of bourbon and an afterthought of fruit. Tangy, fruity finish. This is a total train wreck of a beer, but the mish mash of flaws really works for me and creates a truly stand-out wheat ale. Certainly one-of-a-kind.

Draft at International Beer Garten (Lutz, FL). Pours a hazy copper orange color with a good sized white head. Nice lacing. The sweet aroma contains lots of apricot and some malt. The flavor is not as sweet as you would expect from the aroma, which is a good thing. The bartender suggested trying it mixed with and IPA next time. I gave it a try (mixed with Dogfish 60 min) and it was actually really good. An interesting way to kick up the hops.

Tap @ brewery. Pours golden clear, white head. Aroma apricot is all over. Seemed too hidden compared to the note that says that actual apricots are used during brewing process. Taste, apricot, wheat, sweet sugar, with a fruit puree mouthfeel and some yeast profile..

Poured on tap at the brewery a hazy dull gold to copper with 60 second bright white head. It was served very cold as usual here. Even being near frozen it emitted a decent enough aroma with a load of apricot and maybe a dash of wheat. The taste is full up front apricot that bleeds into mild notes of cherry and wheat. By midway and to the finish apricot fruit tang mixing with floral hops join in and usher the flavor to the finish. Fruit beers like this aren’t my bag. It seems well made.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy light amber. Big apricot extract nose. Sweet, candyish taste like canned apricots. A little bit of refreshing wheatiness in the finish. It’s OK.

Apricot color with slight haze. Dried apricot aroma is sweet-dry and peachy. Sweet entry and a sticky mouthfeel. Loads of apricot. Candy-like. The wheat malts and heavy yeast character keeps it too sticky for me to pint it.
