Tap at Stogies & stouts Pours pours brown with tan head. Aroma of light roasted malts. Taste is nutty with some roasted caramel malts, bubbly and creamy palate with light hoppy / nutty finish.

At brewpub. Clear reddish-brown with small head and lacing. Chocolate malt aroma is pure and simple. Juicy mouthfeel. Sweet flavors. Not well-hopped. Very sweet and apple juice-like. Not much going on. The toasted chocolate malt flavors are lost in the body.

Draft, Dunedin brewery. Pours a murky brown color, very malty aroma and taste with moderate bitterness. Hops are mildly present in the aroma but much more pronounced in the taste, making it decidedly more bitter than you would expect. Palate was smooth but really lacking an aftertaste. Good option.

A very good brown ale with lots of character. On draft at the Dunedin Brewery. Nice blend of hops and malt for a smooth almost caramel flavor.

I had this in Clearwater and it was ok. Typical brown ale wtih nothing to differentiate it from the rest. Just ok.

Brandon, Fl. - Kingdom Liquors, 16 oz bottle. Light brown, cola-like pour, khaki head - medium in thickness. Brief nutty aroma, hints of fresh lake water. Slightly bland flavor, find a brief hint of licorice, some nuttineness. Slightly thin mouthfeel for the style. Refreshing to say the least after a long day at Universal Studios.

From draft at Stogies and Stouts 2008, Dunedin Brewery : Pours clear brown, on the darker side, with about a half finger of offwhite head. Nose is roasted nuts, and some burnt malts. Taste was really quite good. Some roasty nuts and malt, with a slight hop flavor toward the end. Medium body with a nice feel. I really liked this one.
