Draught sample at Stogies and Stouts 2008. Will update rating asap when my head stops pounding.

Bottle from Kingdom Liqour. Poured a clear dark brown color with a moderate frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Medium toasted fruity malty aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium dark fruit bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.

Pours to a deep brown body with a thin brownish paper napkin colored head. The aroma is a marzen-brown ale with pumpkin. The flavor is nutty with a chlorinated hop profile. Nutty. The chlorine in the palate is overpowering.

dark brown color some light reds thick tan head w/ good lacing. Some light smoke in the aroma lots of roast malts, brown sugar, pumpkin & alcohol. Pal is avg. Tatse is solid brown ale, some nice brown sugars a little smoke, pretty plain. Not bad, better tahn I’d expeceted from this brwery. Don’t let it warm up as a wierd funk started to emerge then.

As I see from the comments below I’m not the only one who noticed an obvious infection with this beer. Sour, thin, odd citric character. All indicative of unwanted bacteria eating away unchecked. Reading more on this brewery leads me to believe this is far more common than it should be. That being the case, I still get the impression that this wouldn’t even have been a good beer fresh. However, the one interesting thing about this beer is the dark appearance considering the style. Interesting in the fact that there must have been several varieties of malt used. Some further digging also suggests that this once may have had some hop complexity a long time ago. Sad to see a beer in this state.

Bottle at Mellow Mushroom, Brandon, FL. Smells creamy, sweet with molasses notes. Some hops. Plenty of aroma. Dark red with a thick, creamy, pocky, off-white head. Some off-flavors but hops help hide the flaws. Nice hop finish. Not bad. Somewhat enjoyable. Very overpriced at $6.75 for a 16 oz bottle.

Bottle. Thanks to jdg0608. Poured a very dark black. Aroma of nothing. Taste is malt and water.

Very pungeant aroma.Pours dark brown with an off white head.The flavor is off,mostly sour.Thin mouthfeel with a sour finish.This one is most likely infected.
