There was a fairly large tan head that was almost frothy. The aroma wasn’t strong and contain mostly a roasty maltly smell. The flavor was overwhelming malty with some smokey touchs and hops finishing on the end. A bit unusual finish, but quite pleasant. Overall a fine Florida beer. World of Beer ? | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 28, 2006 Dark hazy brown with a thin collapsable moka head. Light carmale aroma, slightly off. In mouth, same problem as others, a rather sour beer with light peaty notes, this one hast passed the test of time. Palidor19 (1785), Brandon, Florida, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 12, 2006 The aroma is my favorite part of this beer. It has chocolate, toffee, and an earthy/smokey quality. The appearance is dark brown and the head is small. The flavor is acidic and bitter without much sweetness. The palate is average at best. Overall it’s just ok. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 30, 2005 16 oz bottle via trade with Degarth - Thanks Joe - Poured brown with a gigantic tan rocky head that took 10 minutes to pour in a session glass. Not seeing this from other raters so I’m thinking maybe there was something wrong with my sample. Aroma was barely there in my sample. A little caramel malt maybe. Flavor was light nuts, caramel malts, and a sour aftertaste that I didn’t like much. Palate was light and very carbonated. There are much better brown ales out there. kfarrnd (112), Oldsmar, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 24, 2005 Nice brown color, with just a hint of a tan head. Smells mainly of roasted malt. Pretty thin on the palate. Roasted malt and a little sweet caramel in the flavor. Not as complex and delicious as their pale ale, but good nonetheless. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA

I swear Dunedin’s beers are getting a lot better. Toasted malts and a bit of nuttiness. Nice smooth malt profile finishes with just a smidgeon of hops. Great sipping beer. I had 4 of these and I usually hop around a lot.
