The sticky maltiness kicks in late along with some alcohol warmth. Pretty good pils. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

Thanks to Degarth for bringing this keg all the way from Florida.
Hazy, light gold with a long lasting, sticky white head.
Rich malt aroma spiced lightly with flowery hops.
The flavor runs slightly towards the bitter side, with plenty of malt to balance this.
Goes over the tongue smoothly with plenty of body. Nice hop finish.

Pours a hazy gold with a sticky pure white head which lasts. Aroma is cirtus with herbal hints, slightly flowery, and light pine hops- medium pils malt backbone. Very bitter in the flavor which I like- more citrusy hop flavor with some more herbal hints in the back of the throught as the bitterness comes in. Very nice IMpy pils- reminded me a bit like SA which I also like. matta (1139), Tampa, Florida, USA

I really dig this beer; More so than most of the other Dunedin beers but only because their house-yeast, which is so plentiful in most all the others. But that’s cool; the house yeast thing, it makes their beers distinguishable, I just prefer this style better.
Pours a lovely golden / orange body and a tall white head. The aroma is blissful earthy / woody /grassy hops nearly shroud in biskity blanket of sweet candy like malts. The hops are citric in a way but more of an undertone of spruce wood chips in the spiciness but the citrus does come out in a lemon zest form; a hint of herbal-ness, lemon grass and rosemary twigs. I really like the way it’s all put together, I don’t know that it could ever be done the same way again, in truth. The beer seemed experimental; yet intended… if you get that? | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 4, 2006 Updated: Dec 20, 2006Draft. Huge saaz hop aroma is citric, grapefruit peel and lightly floral and beneath this lies a grainy/grassy smelling malt aroma. The body is a rich golden color and holds a firm creamy looking, lasting, white head. Big grapefruit hop blast in the fore followed by a balancing, slightly sweet, malt base that is a little grassy, but very crisp. At times the malt component gets almost bready, but the hops are firm and even and are the main element. Finish is light, dry and imparts a sustained hop bitterness. Nicely done. crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA

This just didn’t do it for me I know all the hype was around this being there first lager, but it wasn’t for me. Slight malts then being overtaken by grapefruit tasting hops and too much of them, I’m not a hop fan and that’s all that was going on here.
