Beershine (2677), Hue, Vietnam Feb 2, 2009 Draught, Redlight. Warm, hazy copper red amber glows in goblet. Cinnamon, clove, cherry, juicy and spicy aroma. Higher carbonation than the Great Lakes, which I had side by side. Flavors are similar to the aromas with lots of cinnamon and clove. Cherry too. Good holiday flavors. Oakes (8057), gone rambling, Vietnam Feb 2, 2009 Draught, Redlight Redlight Reddish-amber and cloudy. Sweet cherry, light spic and some nice malts. Smooth, spicy with lots of malt. Well-balanced and rich. It gets a little thin at the end but overall I like the sense of balance this brew has. GodOfThunder (855), Orlando, Florida, USA Jan 6, 2009 On draft at Redlight. Pours a cloudy strawberry soda color with a thin and whispy white head. Strong smell of cherry syrup and grain. Taste is somewhat like cherry cough syrup with vanilla and some winter spices like cinnamon and clove. Quite tart, too, with a thin mouthfeel. bconley (351), Fern Park, Florida, USA Jan 2, 2009 On tap...Redlight. A cherry reddish brown body. Sweet and caramelly malts. Hops come through. Liked the cinnamon. Nice spice. Alcohol came through more than I thought. Wouldn’t mind this one again. hopscotch (5437), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Dec 26, 2008 Draft… Hazy orange ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is big on gingerbread. Full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and dancing carbonation. Sweet, malty, spicy flavor… gingerbread-like. Spicy, sweet, mildly bitter finish. JMFG (1514), Florida, USA Dec 24, 2008 On tap @ Redlight. Ruddy medium-brown color, slightly cloudy white head. Balanced grain and cinnamon, clove spice notes, slight sweetness, a lot of cinnamon in particular. More sweet taste, lighter cinnamon, mild finish. Decent overall, actually had some farmhouse character present. cmillward (418), Orlando, Florida, USA Dec 18, 2008 Draft @ redlight redlight. Pours a red, clear with a thinnish tan head, slightly fuzzy. Nose is slightly tart, yeasty, cloves, cinnamon, toasted malt and cherries. Flavor is a touch tart, cherries, caramel, toasty with cloves and other spices coming through toward the end. A little drying, tart, med-to-low carbonation. A good spicy, slightly cherry dubbel. dchmela (1406), Orlando, Florida, USA Dec 18, 2008 Draft at Redlight Redlight. Pours a deep copper red with a thin white head. Fruity cherry, tropical malty candy aroma. Little cough syrup, by has a dryness. Nice cherry, fruity slightly tart flavor with a good malt balance. Clean slightly sweet finish. Good brew from a good local brewer.
