Draft at Redlight Redlight. Pours black with a small light tan head. huge peat comes through in the nose, which really surprised me. Got some roasted malts, and coffee as well, but the peat overpowered them mostly. The flavor was much of the same. It says a hint of smokiness in the description, but its definitely a big hint of it. Made the beer more interesting for me, because I wasnt expecting that. Pretty tasty, maybe a bit underrated here.

draft @ redlight redlight. Huge molasses nose sweet tobacco, somewhere between pipe tobacco and chewing, hints of tar and peat, its really impressive on the aroma! Pours reddish dark brown with a thing off white head. A wonderful flavor! Peaty, with loads of tobacco, molasses and caramelized malts, roasty and sweet, with hints of tar. Really quite unique! I’ve had some peat smoked beers, rauch beers, but this has a wonderful tobacco/tar-like quality mixed with the sweet molasses that is just great drinking!

Hazy brown with tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt and smoke. Sweet and mild sourish flavor with roasted malt, caramel and smoke.

Deep amber colour with a tan head. caramel sweet and light smokey aroma with yeasty and dusty notes and hints of a fruity tartness. Quite smokey flavor with malty fruity notes.

Unclear with medium size particles and a medium red brown color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lancing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, berry acidic, oak, light smokey. Flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic and bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (190608)

Bottled at Papsoes Blind tasting 19th. June 2008 no 19: Burgundy coloured. Unclear. Light brown head. Brett, sweetness and fruits in the aroma. Flavour is sweetish, light grapish, light smoky and has a light cherry touch. Medium bodied. A bit spiced and citric end.

(Bottle 47,3 cl) Courtesy of Degarth. Pours an almost clear orangey brown with a small off-white head. Lightly tart nose with a whiff of smoke. Medium body with lightly burned malt, peaty smoked accents and an underlying acidity. Dry and lightly tart finish. 190608

Botte #19 at Papsoes blindtasting. Cloudy red brown coloured with a small beige head. Light acidic aroma of fruits, caramel and brett. Light acidic flavour of caramel, fruits, brett and spices with notes of liquorice and smoke. Tart finish.
