Pours black with a small light tan head. huge peat comes through in the nose, which really surprised me. Got some roasted malts, and coffee as well, but the peat overpowered them mostly. The flavor was much of the same. It says a hint of smokiness in the description, but its definitely a big hint of it. Made the beer more interesting for me, because I wasnt expecting that. Pretty tasty, maybe a bit underrated here. redlight (1496), Winter Park, Florida, USA

Huge molasses nose sweet tobacco, somewhere between pipe tobacco and chewing, hints of tar and peat, its really impressive on the aroma! Pours reddish dark brown with a thing off white head. A wonderful flavor! Peaty, with loads of tobacco, molasses and caramelized malts, roasty and sweet, with hints of tar. Really quite unique! I’ve had some peat smoked beers, rauch beers, but this has a wonderful tobacco/tar-like quality mixed with the sweet molasses that is just great drinking! KimJohansen (7149), Copenhagen V, Denmark
