Commercial Description:
Named after a local band, this Scottish style Stout is extra mean due to the hefty helping of roasted and black patent malts combined with a generous helping of North Western Cascade hops.

Black, strong hoasted coffee aroma, lots of roasted flavor, too much coffee bitterness,

Toasty, dark chocolatey. Very dry but thin as well, which to me makes it all kind of empty, even the toasty notes.

Poured a dark black with a smaller light brown head. Aromas and tastes of chocolate, roasted malts, and some hops (pine). Hops come out more in the taste. Toffee came out in the aroma and taste as the beer warmed up a little. Body was very thin and watery.

on tap-pours a tan head that laces with black color. Aroma is coffee. Taste is coffee, dark malty. Not my taste.

Bottle... Very black ale with a small, frothy, khaki head. Lots cirrus and weeping lace. Smokey, chocolatey, burnt nose with a whisper of pine. Charred, smokey flavor. Light-bodied and watery with fizzy carbonation. Short, bitter, ashen finish. Thanks go out to matta for the bottle.

As black as beers get with a thin tan foamy cover. Good, complex roasted peat-malt aroma reminiscent of some imperial stouts minus the alcohol. Body is robust and flavorful. This is a very respectable dry stout. I'd have to say Dunedin is the best brewery in Florida.

Deep black with a dark brown head. Smoky malt aroma, soapy too. Flavor is weird, soapy with a ton of smoked malts, and a sour dish-water flavor throughout. OK, but nothing great. Musty and with flavors of bark in the finish, the Cascade hops are evident in the finish as well. Thanks to Matta for the trade.
