The aroma is much like the flavor. Wheat and malt combine with sweet fruit and at the same time sour yeast component. The beer is a bit watery and on the low gravity side. But the flavors do meld nicely to yield a refreshing hot-muggy summer day beer. Palidor19 (1792), Brandon, Florida, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 21, 2006 The aroma has cloves, yeast, malt, and some basement aromas. The appearance is nice with a rich hazy gold color but the head is almost non existent. The flavor has all the elements from the aroma plus it’s a little bit acidic and tart. The palate is thin. Overall it’s OK but nothing special. Papsoe (15107), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Light body with vague, wheaty accents. Clean and refreshing. 040406 jcwattsrugger (5573), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 1, 2006 Lightly hazed golden ale with a thin lifeless white head. Smells like a lemony gueuze, more horseblanket than sulfury! In mouth, chalky wheat malt with stronger lemon, no more bananas left in this babe, and almost veering on the tart gueuze taste, light bodied. Brett infection? Bottle was one year old. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 13, 2005 Dizang that does smell bad. I wonder what slushes down into the Lowlands. Pale gold and lifeless. Tasted slightly infected. Sweet with little body. Finishes sour (infected?). I have actually had this a bumch, but I can’t remember it though I really don’t think it was ever sour and yet I bought this bottle at a place that moves the product well. No matter really it wasn’t getting any better anyway. TheRimmer (483), Florida, USA
