I'm always a little hesitant to try wheats at micros, but Dunedin has done this one well. Nice clody yellow-orange color with citrus and bananas on the nose and palate. Nice head with decent lace. matta (1139), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 24, 2003 Updated: Aug 10, 2003 After we both agreed that we liked the beer, I said to my girlfriend, “What aroma dose this beer give off, it smells lemony to me;” her response nailed it, “rotting grapefruit.” This wheat beer is light, crisp, slightly oily, and gives off a very pleasant citric aroma; the “rotting grapefruit” aroma and flavor actually work with this beer, it makes it slightly tart. Over all, the Low Lands is a pretty drinkable Wheat Ale. desurfer (1068), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 29, 2006 Light golden in color. Heavy on the wheat flavor and nicely accented by the orange splice. On the sweet side with little hoppiness. Good quaffer on a hot evening. FlacoAlto (2473), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 3, 2007 This thing just gushes forth as soon as I pop the cap. It is massively carbonated and I end up with about an inch of beer in my glass and the rest overflowing head. The head is light, airy and a pale off-white color, while the beer is a lightly hazy, yellow gold color. The aroma has a full grain-like aroma to it that reminds me of fresh ground wheat and something that seems a bit like musty grain. There is also a light note that reminds me of lemon peel.
The taste is light on the tongue, in fact most of the carbonation escaped in that first mad rush as I poured this beer. It is lightly tart, with a slight lemon note to it. There is some other fruit-like note here as well, it is very subtle and almost reminds me of strawberries. There is not much in the way of grain character here, nor hops; perhaps there is a light wheat note and there is a light bitterness in the finish. My second pour is a bit more carbonated and this serves to add a zippy note that is quite welcome. The carbonation makes this even more quaffable than this really light beer already is. A touch of musty character runs just under the surface, perhaps a bit like worn, sun baked, yet newly moistened leather. I am not sure what was intended in this beer, but it seems to be somewhere in between a bland American wheat and a Berliner Weiss. I actually am quite enjoying it, perhaps Dunedin should commit to the Berliner Weiss side of things and let this beer go. crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA

Aroma of lightly sweet pale wheat and mild citrus. Body starts with average viscosity and decent light pale malty and wheaty sweetness before a crisp, drinkable finish. A pretty standard, but drinkable wheat beer.
