The aroma is all about citrus fruit and floral notes with hints of honey and pine. Good balance in the flavor. Nice malt profile with plenty of floral and evergreen hops for bite. Medium-bodied and creamy with moderate carbonation. Crisp finish. Thanks go out to matta for the bottle. willblake (2176), Belcamp, Maryland, USA

Looks like an APA alright: bright amber and with some lacing as the white head fades slowly. Aromas are bready and citrus with some pear and perfume in the background - reminds of some hand lotion I’ve used. Palate is silky smooth at first and across the middle, finishing sweet with mild c-hop sharpness lingering. Quite floral throughout. A raw graininess pervades as well. This stuff seems a bit like they’re trying to copy SNPA’s flavor but shy from the excessive overhopping. Nicely done, a good find from Florida. Thanks Matt! 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 7, 2004 Bottle courtesy of Matta. Pours a light amber color. Nice lingering white head. Aroma is a little funky. Like a hopped up Budweiser. Nice hoppy flavor with ample bitterness. A little floral with citrus. Bitterness clings and slowly fades. Not bad at all. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Nov 24, 2004 How this was voted the best Florida beer i’ll never know. It must have been between this brew and some carbonated sewage filtered through a cheap maxi pad. I call this the rogue syndrome. where you make a couple good beers, then the rest is just over stylized beginner’s homebrew. The hop assault was everywhere. every mouthful was grainier than the last. I would have drain poured it out of frustration and disgust but i needed to get drunk. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 5, 2004 Color is amber, clear, and head is short and fast-gone. Aroma is the stand-out, though: fruity, piney, citrusy. Is it Cascade hops? Smells like it. Fruity, zingy, with an above-all impression of apricots.
Palate is smooth, slightly hoppy, and very tasty.
Easy-drinking, but lacking anything extra to push it above the ordinary ale. Went down nice, but easily forgotten.

Aroma of malt, hops, pears, apples. Tastes hoppy, with a solid malt presence, and some frutiness and spiciness at the culmination. Smooth and medium on the palate, with a slightly dry finish. Not super complex, but very good. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA

Light amber/copper body with a frothy thumb thick white head that is fairly lasting. Sweet lightly caramel and grain accented malts with that gets a bit thin in the middle. Finishes with a bitter hoppy flourish. MAP (1089), Lakewood, Ohio, USA

Aroma makes you think, hey Hops are on the way, but sadly, the reserves haven’t been called in, and what you get is a pale ale that just teases you.
