Nice hop floral aroma. A crisp but tasty floral bite. Not much hops in the finish, but it’s fine, since this beer makes you think that a mild pale is what you were hoping for. A bit creamy and enjoyable.

Bottle from Beerlando. Hazy light amber body with a large, overcarbonated, off-white head. The nose is grainy with dusty yeast and light caramel. The flavor is fairly dry, just lightly tart with cotton candy, golden raisins and a touch of floral and citrus hops. Medium/light body is round (once the excess carbonation leaves) with a bit of thinness on the finish.

Fresh, 16 oz, 2007 bottling. I don’t know what kind of funky yeast thing Dunedin has going on, but as strange as it is, I kind of like it. The first thing you notice about this beer is that a tiny pour produces a massive, billowing volcano of dense, off-white foam. The body is a slightly hazy apple cider color with tons of carbonation. Random patches of lacing decorate the glass. The aroma shows an odd yeasty blend of ginger-ale soda and sweet and tart apple esters. The flavor is like a lesson in contrasts. Sweet red apples balance out tart green ones. A smooth, caramely malt base offsets a massively fizzy and spicy foreground. Herbal hops are discernible, but only if you’re willing to seek them out with purpose. There’s a bit of toast or biscuit in the flavor, as well as a tiny hint of cream and a drop of honey. Strange, semi-sour aftertaste lingers for a good while. Medium body. This beer does not fit into a categorical definition, and it certainly doesn’t resemble a standard American Pale. Very similar to Dunedin’s Red Head, as its obvious the same yeast strain was used. I’m probably overrating this beer, but its unique characteristics intrigue me like few can.

From bottle : Pours a dark cloudy amber color with a nice white head, quite carbonated. A spicey hop aroma with citrus hints. Thin to medium body, that is smooth on the palate, and leaves a nice creamy "afterfeel". I really like the flavor, hoppy then i expected, with a nice bitter end.

super carbonated with long lasting head but little lace--such a tease because it smells so spicey and you have to wait for 3/4 fo your glass to settle. Very nice spiciness that was unexpected but htinner than I would have liked, hoppy-bitter finish was a disappointment.

Doughy biscuity aroma, with restrained notes of herbal and floral hops. A touch soapy. Weirdly strongly soapy resiny bitter metallic flavor with strong metallic finish. I was able to adapt somewhat to this, but its not really a pleasant finish. Barely finishable. Pale copper with a giant foaming head.

[311-20070510] Bottle (c/o DuctTape). Sweet fruity grape aroma mixed with floral plastic. Hazy, orange brown body with a medium-lasting bubbly off-white head. Hoppy flavour has citrus and grass notes. Medium body. Nice flavour!
