Nice hop floral aroma. A crisp but tasty floral bite. Not much hops in the finish, but it’s fine, since this beer makes you think that a mild pale is what you were hoping for. A bit creamy and enjoyable.

A middle of the road ale here. The hops were very noticable. Nothing really special though, just an average brew, but there’s nothing wrong with that.

I enjoyed this one a lot. Started off with a fresh citrus hop nose. Body was a glowing amber, white fluffy head, nice lacing. Nice beady, lightly sweet malts. Hops are interesting - 2 distinct layers of flavor - a woody warm hop along the sides, and a big citrus, orange juice hop on top of that - I loved that flavor. I'd like to see this one pumped up a bit to make it an IPA. (another winner from Matta!)

Medium amber/gold body, huge beige head. Lots of tasty floral hoppiness along with bready malts. Way too much carbonation, which is a significant drawback. More alcohol is present in the finish for a relatively low ABV brew. Pretty good.

Rerate: On tap, this is a much better pale ale, with the carbonation under control and less of a boozy aftertaste.

#300!!! Thanks to Matta for sending this one! This was a good trade! This Pale is a winner that starts off with a big creamy head riding on a beautiful burnished copper beer. Grapefruit hops balanced with a light malt in the aroma which is clean and refreshing and sets you up for the taste which is well balanced. It finishes with a slight bitterness that is just right. Balance is the word for this beer. Matt has chosen a good one to keep on hand in his ’fridge. And look Pippin, it comes in pints!

From bottle : Pours a dark cloudy amber color with a nice white head, quite carbonated. A spicey hop aroma with citrus hints. Thin to medium body, that is smooth on the palate, and leaves a nice creamy "afterfeel". I really like the flavor, hoppy then i expected, with a nice bitter end.

Medium amber in color. Nice mouthfeel. Soft and medium-bodied with a multi-leveled carbonation. Malts were tasty: lightly toasted, a little doughy, slightly nutty, and a little sweet. Hops complemented well, balancing things out. Grassy and herbal with a pinch of spiciness. Grapefruit and lemon hang out on the roof of the mouth and look down on the tongue-dwelling bitterness. Overall, nicely balanced and nicely flavored. I didn't know Florida had it in it! Good beer! ... I just read some other ratings, and it sounds like this stuff degrades quickly. Thanks for the fresh bottle, matta!
