Flavor is fruity with not onr flavor dominating. Grassy at the end. dry aftertaste. Not too sweet. Little carbonation and somewhat watery. Pretty good for a fruity beer. Aroma is of wheat and a little hint of raspberry. Flavor is of wheat, yeast, and subtle raspberry. A little citrus bite on the back of each sip. Pretty watery on the palate and it seems to definitely lack carbonation. Definitely not as flavorful as other raspberry beers I’ve had... My son really loved the VW bug on the label though and I thought that the name was pretty cool as well. If only the contents inside were as good.. hershiser2 (923), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 30, 2005 Pours with almost a pinkish-purple hue. Small head. Aroma of raspberries in the nose. Flavor is slightly wheaty raspberry. Better than some of the other fruit-added beers I’ve had, but it’s not exceptional. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA

Nose was medicinal like some saisons and geuzes I have had. Unexpected aroma. Orange/tea colored with a lazy quarter thin head. Dainty tasting beer. The raspberry is not out of balance, but it could have a maltier wheat backbone. Some citrus in the finish. Dunedin is much better with their "scotish" inspired offerings. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 31, 2005 16oz bottle: typical Dunedin product with a massive head. Why can’t they tame this carbonation? Poured an amber yellow with the massive off white head. Light raspberry aroma with a touch of wheatiness. Flavor is all fruit-raspberry, but too carbonated and somewhat dry. Moderate lemon. Like an Alka-Seltzer. TheBeerGod (3171), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 17, 2005 Thanks to matta for the bottle. Hazed amber with an enormous white head. Nose is very fruity but gladly not too artificial smelling. Light berry and citrus notes, light wheat and yeast. Taste is bittersweet with tart fruits, yeast, light wheat notes, hops and some sweetened malt. Body is over carbonated and very fizzy feeling. Also has a seltzer water type feel to it. Finishes with light berry and citrus, with strong wheat and yeast and light hops. Not too bad. npdempse (931), St. Petersburg, Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 10, 2005 Cloudy amber with a medium sized white head. Raspberry nose, with a tangy lemony touch. Flavor dominated by raspberry with sourness, bitterness, and some odd funk. Not very pleasant. TheRimmer (483), Florida, USA

Tastes like soap, metal, and fresh raspberries. The sickening triumvate burnt my mouth and just was a total waste. Looked great.
