Wow, a brewery with two fruit beers!!
This pours like a typical wheat beer to a point. The head is thick and creamy but is PINK. Typical wheat haze with pink tones to a yellow beer. Nice clean raspberry aroma. The flavor is lightly sweet and fruity, balanced with just a tad of fruit tartness with a creamy sweet fruit finish. A real good beer for fruit beer lovers. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA

This not only smelled of raspberries, but tasted like them, too. Tartness. Considerable tartness. Overall, an enjoyable wheaty brew (more american wheat than german). Decent. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 29, 2004 Bottle pours pinkish amber with a large fizzy white head. Quite carbonated, attractive lacing. Raspberry fruit rollups on the nose, with some light wheaty malts. Flavor is forwardly raspberry, but light, VERY light. Taste could be described as chewing on raspberry seeds. Light sourness emerges at the middle but quickly diminishes by the finish. Not bad, but could use more intense Raspberry flavor and more body. Probably great for a hot day. Thanks goes out to BierBauch for the trade!

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 24, 2004 Hmm - when I first poured this - hardly any aroma; then a minute later -kapowee - all razzelberry and wheat aroma. Murky yellow with hints of red - really unfiltered - I liked that look. Taste is big on berries, but also filled with the typical wheat tang and some clove. Overall, it's a little too acidic for my palate, but would be nice on a hot day. Thanks Matta! Rastacouere (5565), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 26, 2004 Pint bottle courtesy of Matta. Cheers Matt! Razzberry pours initially light amber with a slight haze and pink reflects with very intense carbonation feeding a generous white head full of big bubbles. Raspberry is well discernable in the nose and actually pleasant if not as salivating than those from liefmans. Light notes of bread as well. Taste is rather simple, VERY mild, but nonetheless refreshing and hiding its alcohol. Spritzy carbonation and light bodied. A little less interesting than the sum of its parts is my final impression, but if you're into fruit beers, don't fail to contact Matt for some. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 25, 2003 Draft at the Dunedin Brewery in Dunedin, FL. In my opinion, if this beer had just a little bit more of a raspberry flavor to it it would taste much beer and I would have rated it higher. A small sized white head with fine-medium sized bubbles that mostly diminished. The body was uncarbonated and cloudy with a slightly pinkish hue. The nose was mild raspberry with a mild raspberry flavor. The mouthfeel was creamy, smooth and thin. This was a light bodied beer with very sparse lacing. thedm (3837), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

This draft brew was sampled at the brewery in Dunedin Florida. This brew poured a small head of fine to large sized mostly diminishing slightly pink hued bubbles. The aroma was a mild rasperry wheat one and the mouthfeel was smooth and flat. The flavor was a nice mild malt wheat combination. MMM...Beer (385), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 27, 2003 Nice cloudy amber color with a simple head. Raspberries on the nose and palate. A little to fizzy on the palate at first (kind of like flavored seltzer water), but it mellows into a nice, smooth beer.
