The perfect beach beer, great raspberry flavor that taste so damn good, I could taste the fruit just enough to not overdo it and make it balance with the beer perfectly, I bought about 10 of these, made 3 trips to the same store within 2 days. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA

The problem with most beers of this type is that too much emphasis is put upon the rasberry flavor and not the beer. This one was a smooth, crisp wheat beer with a subtle aftertaste of rasberry. A great brew from the always solid dunedin brewery. MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 17/20 | Dec 3, 2002 Avoids the cloying sweetness of many fruit beers by offering a nice hint of the fruit without overpowering. Announces its fruitiness to the world by being slightly pinkish, which is not all that unusual both within and without the beer world. Nose is quite full, with noticeable fruit. Flavor has definite raspberries in it, but is nicely balanced by some chewy malts and a surprisingly full hop bitterness at the end. Needs to be thicker and creamier, but a nice approach to the fruit beer world. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Wow, a brewery with two fruit beers!!
This pours like a typical wheat beer to a point. The head is thick and creamy but is PINK. Typical wheat haze with pink tones to a yellow beer. Nice clean raspberry aroma. The flavor is lightly sweet and fruity, balanced with just a tad of fruit tartness with a creamy sweet fruit finish. A real good beer for fruit beer lovers. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Hazy light amber body with a large frothy white head. Sweet light raspberry aroma with some light wheat hints. Sweet raspberry flavor, hints of sour, and a wheat edge. Almost like a framboise mixed with a wheat beer. willblake (2177), Belcamp, Maryland, USA

Thick, murky, totally clouded pour with tall and lasting pink-khaki head. Aromas of sharp and sour berries, surprisingly funky and maybe infected but it’s really working. No typical banana-clove wheatiness, more like a framboizen lambic and some lemon zest. Very dry. Hints at raspberry but not at all dominant, not even fruit forward, really. Mostly, this brew is dry, sharp - about what I’d expect those little raspberry seeds to taste like, or very green berries. If it is, in fact, totally infected, the bacteria has been veryh good to this beer. Thanks, Matt! matta (1139), Tampa, Florida, USA

I was a little skeptical, as I always am about fruit beers, but this brew stayed true to a wheat style beer. The
razz-berry flavor is not overpowering at all, the wheat aroma and flavor is still highly present. This beer has hints of hopps and malt thought the body and flavor, unlike many fruit beers. Well done!

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 2, 2003 Thanks for the brew Matt, weizenglass: Hazy reddish amber hue with a large frothy ivory head and good lace. The aroma hints of raspberries and wheat(of course), banana esters, spice, citrus, and yeast. Surprised how the wheat beer character comes through dispite the fruit. Mild wheat zest, yeasty and raspberry twang, and biscuit taste. Some undertone of spice on the very dry finish. A unique take on the style, refreshing but could use a bit more fresh berry pop to make it interesting.
