This was ok a lot like the pale ale but with a more bitter taste and less flavor that did not appeal to me, but then again no red ale ever has.

Clear amber w/ reddish hue. Dense off-white foam. Sweet, malty aroma of caramel & dark bread w/ some leafy tobacco notes. Medium feel. Balanced toward maltiness w/ some mineral notes & a moderately bitter, moderately dry finish

I must have had a bad one because I dumped more than half of it. Beer looked good, nice orange copper color. Huge head. Smelled sharp and acidic. Tasted salty, almost like club soda. Unpleasantly bitter finish, detected no malt or just about any other flavor. Way too much carbonation.... Awful.

Heh. Bready, grain nose. maybe some bitterness? Taste was pretty much the same with some hops. Not as grainy as the pale, more balanced flavors. Tasted like a rich bread.

Pours dark copper with a huge, off-white head. Aroma of malt, hops, toffee. Tastes malty, with hops, toffee, and a slight dry, fruity finish. Medium palate. Thanks to Degarth for this one.

re-rate. Caramel and muted hop notes int he aroma. Medium hop presence. Crystal-y tasting with caramel and a bit of a vegetal finish. Fairly malty though and easy enough drinking. This varies from time to time and can occasionally be very good and at other times just mediocre.

Amber, watery iced tea looking color. No head. Smells of caremel, hops and lightly of vanilla. Taste is cherry, caramel and pine hops. Tastes like a very watered down APA. Aftertaste is dry pine cones.

Good malty body with a smooth finish. Aroma isn’t well…..there…..Good mouthfeel however, oily but still a bit crisp. Maybe a little (too) simple
