Bottle. Pours clear and sparkling amber with a large, off-white, creamy head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (caramel, toasted grain, straw), light hops (grass, herbs), average yeast (earth) with notes of apple. Light bodied, thin texture, average carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Bottle from Zinister at February Houston Tasting. Thanks, hippie! Pours a thin amber with a malty aroma similar to the Coors brewery wort room. Flavor is watery roasted malt. Average mouthfeel.

Bottle. Quite fruity aroma, red berries. Hazy red colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is also quite fruity. Has a lot of berries, quite dry, though. Turns a little citric in the finish. Quite high carbonation.

im not usually a huge fan of red ales as they are kinda blah, but this was was pretty upfront with its flavors. bright, tangy some citrus in the background and a mild hoppy finish.

Hazy dull red-amber. Extract aroma with grainy toasty note. Some tobaccoey notes, raw grain. Thin. This really doesn’t come together.

Red color with slight haze and some lace. Bready malt aromas. Enters sweet and juicy with apply flavors. Quaffable mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Sessionable but sweet.

Pours a deep amber color with a nice initial fizzy head that settles to a thin layer. The aroma is caramel malty, some floral hops and a bit of cereal. This beer tastes a little sweet but also a touch roasty, quite a bit of the caramel malts I got in the aroma, creamy, and fruity hops rounding it out. Slightly dry finish. This is quite good and very well-rounded. Thumbs up to Dunedin for putting out a solid product in a style that is typically quite boring.
