Dundedin's Readhead Red is craft brewed with British Pale and Crystal malts. Delicately hopped with Willemette and East Kent Golding hops. This Celtic style ale goes with Just about any type of pub fare. Slainte!

Bottle from Orlando Total Wine...again I didnt like this beer. This brewery disappoints quite often IMO. Reddish pour. Malty aroma with some hops. Flavor is better thatn their pale, but their beers just seem to lack some punch. Grainy and bready flavor, weak note of hops...boring.

Pours copper, beige head. Aroma is malty and roasted. Taste, some nice floral notes, caramel malts, with hoppy finish. Not a bad brew, but nothing special going on here.

Bottle and draft at brewpub. Poured deep mahogany with a lingering tan head. Highly carbonated and very lively. Aroma of weak grain, bread and yeast. Taste is fairly weak as well. Flavors of grains, caramel malts, mild olive, and mild hops. Body overall is thin.

Draft… Lightly hazed amber ale with orange highlights and a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. Fruity, caramel, mashy aroma. Medium-bodied with a sticky mouthfeel and reserved carbonation. Big caramel flavor. Sweet and malty, but not cloyingly so, with a light note of black tea. Reminiscent of the original recipe for West Virginia Appalachian Ale (1992, first brew-pub beer I ever tasted) and Lake Tahoe Red. Toasted, caramel finish. Extremely drinkable.

On tap at Mellow Mushroom (Orlando, FL). Pours a dark red-brown with a one finger tan head. Aroma is bread, grain, some spice and yeast. Flavor is somewhat bland with notes of hops, malty sweetness and wet hay. Light body with a slightly bitter finish.

On tap at Mellow Mushroom served as Dropkick Murphy’s Erin Red ( e-mailed the brewer and it is in fact the same recipe as the Red Head Red). Poured light crimson w/ a fluffy off-white head..mostly lasting...soapy lacing. The aroma was toasted malts, florals, caramel. The flavor was bitter hops, caramel, and dough. Very smooth beer, moderate carbonation, and a lasting, dry, and bitter finish. Very tasty...

Brandon, Fl. - Kingdom Liquors, 22 oz bomber. Dark copper pour, nice off-white head. Interesting and enjoyable aroma - hints of spices and mint. Solid flavor with hints of chocolate, nectarines, some Christmas spices - very complex and tasty. Lively mouthfeel - just the right amount of carbonation. One of the better ones from Dunedin - a brewer that seems to suffer from long shelf occupancy at times.
