ABC liquors, st petersberg fl. poured a deep amber with a giant creamy white foam. smell was very earthy and resin hops characteristics. Taste was similar to a lightly hoped english style ipa, lots of resin followed by a malt and yeast flavor. the bread and yeast gives way to a clean finish of citrus bittering hops. the mouth feel is thin and watery the biggest set back to this beer.

Poured a slightly hazy reddish color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma was dusty with notes of paper. Sweet malt underneath. The flavor was mildly sweet with nutty and caramel notes. Dry finish with a lively carbonation.

Thanks to goldtwins for sharing this one. Deep red colour with a thin off white head. Aroma is a bit earthy and sweet. Some toasted malt and a bit of buttery character. Lightly leathery and dusty. Phenolic. Meh.

WARNING, HEAD ALERT!!! It pours a nice red amber with a giant head if your not too careful. Yeasty nose. Tangy almost sweet flavor with a touch of hops, not bad. The finish kills me though, my mouth tastes like it did when my mother would pour dawn dish washing liquid in my mouth for using foul language as a kid; this is this beers major flaw.

Fresh, 16 oz, 2007 bottling. Cloudy reddish amber body with a massive, rocky, off-white head. When I say massive, I mean it. A one-inch pour of beer yields a rapidly expanding, three-inch foamy head. Eventually, the head settles to a blotchy layer that leaves behind patchy, random lacing. The aroma confirms what is obviously an infection. Resembling nothing like an amber, the nose gives off a funky, yeasty, sour note, with strong citrus characteristics and malty biscuit notes. The flavor follows along those same lines. Citrus and wild, sour yeast up front, with a sweet, creamy, lemon-chiffon finish. Mild astringency on the short, funky finish. The medium body is surprisingly smooth and well balanced for a beer that is clearly infected. Obviously, this is not what they were aiming for. Get that quality control in order, boys.

I was surprised to find 56 beers for the terms "red head" but I suspect hte blondes would rank more. A gift from Santa 2007--which makes me think he knows me. Looks and taste like a cappuchina with a bitter finish.

Disappointing for a Dunedin beer. The beer has sugary malt notes with a hopiness that makes it unbalanced. Good reddish-brown color, but overall I would take a Piper’s Pale or a Summer Buzz over this one.

Pours a darkish red with a small off white head. Decent hop presence here which was the main aroma that was most detectable. Maybe some mild citrus in there too. Nothing too exciting. The taste also is mildly hoppy, although the mildness seems to work with this particular beer. very small spice character to it falls in the background, but gives it some semblance of complexity. Dry mouthfeel, but decent altogether.
