Light herbal aroma, difficult to catch through the humongous foam. In mouth, crisp malt, lightly nutty, with decent hops. Very decent shape for 1 yr old beer. Palidor19 (1792), Brandon, Florida, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 11, 2005 Pint bottle at Jolli Mon’s in Dunedin, you can see the brewery from the porch. Poured a very nice reddish brown with a thick reddish tan head. Very subtle aroma, not much at all to go on there. It looks better than it tastes with a lot of yeast and malt and some bitter flavors but they were very disjointed and almost separate. It was heavily carbonated on the palate, similar to most of the Dunedin beers. It’s not one of the better Dunedin’s but it’s certainly much better than your standard restaurant beers. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 18, 2005 16 oz bottle via trade with Degarth and my last one from Florida! - Thanks Joe! - Pours amber witha 2 inch offwhite foamy head that stays pretty well and laces in the english pint glass. Not much aroma at all. I got a little yeast. Flavor is malty but a bit of a sour aftertaste. A little bit of a hop finish but not much here. Very bready and doughy flavor. Palate is rather light and very airy due to the carbonation. Maybe this would be better with some pub fare in the brewpub but alone it isn’t that great.
