"Les Bons Voeux" means best wishes, which is what Brasserie Dupont sends with this very special saison ale brewed only for the holidays. Redolently aromatic, rich and velvety, this is an ale to toast the season and welcome in the New Year!

750 ml bottle in Duvel glass. Pale hazy orange with lasting white head and lace. Spicy lemon pastry aroma. Very fresh. Bready honey melon with strong spicy bittereness. Medium body (light for the abv) with effervescent carbo and nice mouthfeel. Very assertive, complex, refreshing, drinkable and strong. One the of the best beers, period. Big thanks to Stu at Shoreline Bev for the special order.

Appearance: Hazy, copper-hued body with an inch of off-white foam. Smell: Aroma smelling of bright citrus, tangy wheat, spices, apple peelings, and a sweaty, floral hop character. I must say, the funkiness coursing through the nose is fairly restrained. Taste: Union of citrus, orange peel, and grassy florals. Tart and reasonably bitter even at the start. Some malted wheat, apple, and even flecks of sweet toffee begin to emerge midway. Hint of alcohol, a thoughtful reminder of the 9.5% contained within. Sip of still mineral water. Never more than a mild funk component. Some honey and sour lemon arrives late. Light touches of funk and sourness on the dry finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Slight stickiness. Drinkability: Displays tons of distinct flavors and subtle complexities, but for a winter seasonal, I find myself looking elsewhere and for a saison, well, I honestly prefer the standard Saison Dupont. But I certainly appreciate the "best wishes" from Brasserie Dupont (right back at’cha!).

750ml bottle. Great crisp flavor. Not too sweet. Some citrus and hop. Faint spicyness. The alcohol content is not apparent in the nose. Fantastic!

75cl bottle approx two years old, on occasion of new years eve. Pours hazy blonde with a thick foamy white head. Nose is like a dusty attic, chalk, cheese. Aroma of citrus and herbs. Flavorbalance good between sweet and sour. Very silky mouthfeel and alcoholcontent only noticeable as it warms. Good beer.

Pours a bright hazy golden orange with a thin off white head. Nose is full and earhty with some tart citrus. The flavor is the same but a bit more complex and a light mouthfeel.

750ml bottle from west lakeview.... pours a hazy cloudy orange with an overflowing fluffy white head... aroma of earthy mustiness with a medicinal citrus qualities... flavors of citrus with a minerally consistency with lively carbonation. abv is hard to detect. goes down and an above average mouthfeel. i wonder how this one tastes with some age on it...
