Nov 27, 2008 2008 bottle. A great saison! Pours with a huge, white head and a hazy yellow body. Aroma is funky with some misc. spices, peppery and light fruit. Taste is nice and dry, fruity with a touch of clove, honey and funk. A classic saison squared! Very lively bubbles and dry mouthfeel. Very drinkable and the alcohol is well concealed.

Nov 26, 2008 Pours with a dark, murky yellow hue with a nice frothy white head that diminishes pretty quickly.
Aroma is of yeast, citrus, hops and lots of barnyard funk.
Flavor has a sweetish beginning, with an alcoholic, semi-bitter finish.
Lively carbonation with a very dry mouthfeel.

Nov 21, 2008 Bottle, Belgian Belly, Chorlton. This is a belting Belgian straight out of the top drawer. Just incredibly moreish. Smelled and tasted gorgeous.Lemony hops, vanilla malt . Beautifully balanced hop, jostled with a complex fruity spiciness. Ever so slightly boozy, but so what? A lovely beer, hats off to y’all

Nov 21, 2008 On tap at Redlight. Cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Slightly astringent, fruity and yeasty. Taste is tart and has some lemon peel flavor. Pretty hoppy. Good.

Nov 20, 2008 Spicy, yeasty aromas, cinnamon, corriander, citrus. Pours cloudy gold with a thick white head. Must flavor, yeasty, apple skins, spicy yeast, corriander, grains of paradise, rich and smooth with spicy hops, grassy notes, with lot of sweet malts. Great Beer!

Nov 2, 2008 Bottle, 2007. Pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, apple skins, light fruits (citrus) and spices. Flavor is quite similar, lots of yeast, apple, and spices. ’’Hot’’ and warming. Nice saison (but I prefer the regular Saison Dupont).

Nov 2, 2008 Bottle, 2007. Aroma yeasty/doughy with citrus, grape, light pepper, some alcohol. Flavor more bready than doughy with more of the pepper, similar fruit feel to the nose. Gentle hops and somewhat less gentle alcohol in the finish. Very tasty.
