One hell of a day put on by Cquiroga, thanks for a killer day Chris. Pours gold and yellow with a bright white ring. Nose is sweet and nutty. Taste is sweet yeasty and damn nice. jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 26, 2008 sampled at the Kulminator on tap: Floral and earthy aroma reminiscent of brett spring forth from this beautifully cloudy beer. It poured with 2 fingers of head which laced beautifully down the side of the glass. Flavor is of a summer afternoon. Earthy hops, floral notes, cereal malt, all balance out with harmony. Mouth feel is light and bubbly, really complements the flavors and the feelings of a summer day.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Feb 24, 2008 ~3-4 year old bottle. Cloudy light orange body with lots of yeast particulate and a large white head and that fades to a wispy cover. Sweet and fruity nose with fresh herbs, flowers, pepper, apricot and orange. Lightly sweet taste with cotton candy, lavender, pepper and peach. Medium body is very soft with moderate, gentle carbonation. Slayer85 (582), Firenze, Italy
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 23, 2008 750 ml bottle. An unclear golden beer with a big, persistent white foam that leaves laces on the glass. The aroma is peppery, citric, with a light note of alcohol. The flavour is quite powerful, spicy (pepper, coriander), fruity (lemon), with some alcohol, that is not disturbing but warming. Quite sweet flavours with a decent bitterness. medium to full body, lively carbonation, quite long finish with light to medium bitterness. A much more than average beer, but I prefer their regular Saison, more funky, funny and bitter. However a good winter and strong Saison. jwardell (23), Newton, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 22, 2008 On tap. Excellent head, nice dark blond color. A light taste that did an amazing job masking its high alcohol content. after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Feb 20, 2008 750, corked and baled. Crystal clear dark gold with a towering platinum blonde head. Acres of fuzzy lace. Medium body, soft carb. Beautifully presented. Sweet grass, floral notes, caramel, and general goodness on the mid-palate. Long slightly sugary finish. Compared to the aged Moinette Blonde I just cracked, this is a bit of a piker, but I bet it’s lovely in time. I’m hip to pretty much everything at the top of Dupont’s line, though--these guys aren’t playin’ around. BeerandBlues2 (3202), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 19, 2008 750 mL bottle purchased at Liquor Max in Loveland, CO. Pours hazy dark yellow with an average, frothy, white head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grain, hay, straw), average hops (herbs, grass), heavy yeast (horse blanket, barnyard, earth) with notes of grape, pepper, and wine. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness. Syd (892), Waconia, Minnesota, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 19, 2008 750 pours light amber gold with a pillow like white head and cobweb lace that seems to morph into spot lace. The aroma is banana, spicy and yeasty - not much funk. The flavor is sweet, banana, pear, peach, spicy, yeasty, some slight hops, with some minor funk. The palate is nice and rich for the style. The alcohol is nowhere to be tasted or smelled. There is a lingering sour or yeast flavor that really balances out the sweetness well. It gets ultra yeasty and spiced near the bottom - I don’t waste the yeast. Overall, well done. Great for my birthday today!
