yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 26, 2007 Bottle (75cl corked) at Københavnske Øldage. Unclear, golden-orange pour with a white head. Coriander, citrus, spices and wheat in the aroma. The flavor har wheat, lemon, coriander, orange peel and a little spice-like touch. A bit astringent in the mouth. Spiced, lemony, wheaty finish. Very refreshing, yet it lacks something to get a highet rating. (070512) GilBier (75), Dendermonde, Belgium Jun 20, 2007 From a 75cl bottle. Amber colored beer, good lively carnation and very atractive white head. Aroma is malty, leafy, dry and interesting hoppy. Taste is signed Dupont, nice saison caracter, with a great dry malty structure and a crispy bitterness op hops. Alcohol is well hidden. Maria (6056), Thisted, Denmark Jun 10, 2007 Københavnske Øldage 07. Bottle. Hazy, golden with a nice creamy head. The aroma is spicy with notes of citrus and a bit of malt. The flavour is sweet and malty, but then comes refreshing citrus along together with a nice, crisp hop-bite. Complex and very nice. 15/29 highpoint (23), lansdowne, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 1, 2007 2006 bottle. light orange color, very carbonated. earthy followed by mango, and a juicy fruit flavor. the flavor lingers on and on. one of the best beers i’ve had. Nephilium (541), Ohio, USA May 28, 2007 2006 bottle. Pours a beautiful hazy light amber, with a big fluffy head. Standard saison aromas of earth, floral notes, and a touch of sweetness. Surprisingly sweet flavor, with crisp carbonation to cleanse the palate. Finishes with a touch of tartness. The alcohol content is not noticeable at all, which makes this very dangerous. Drop the ABV by about 5%, and this would be an excellent sessionable saison. joe1510 (501), Illinois, USA May 24, 2007 750ml. Bottle

Cork reads "2006"
Opened with a lot of "pop". Avec les Bons Voeux pours a beautiful slightly hazed golden that glows when held to the light. A big 3+ finger fluffy white head formed on the pour that receded to 2 fingers and became craggy and meringue like. Left thick drink lines. Very refreshing looking beer.
When I popped the cork I took a quick smell and was immediately reminded of champagne. When in the glass this beer smells exceptionally polished. All notes go together so cleanly it’s difficult to pick them out. Mild floral aromas are present and mingle seamlessly with a faint haylike barnyard funkiness and candi sugar sweetness. Tart green apples come along too. Still shows champagne like qualities.
This is the best saison I’ve ever expierenced by a long shot. Yes this beer is an expierence. Wonderfully done. Faint sugary sweetness along with a very mild funkiness go perfectly with the floral undertones. Green apple tartness gets in the mix as well. As this beer warms the green apple shows through more and more. Very refreshing.
Light body with a solid amount of carbonation. Glides through the mouth very nicely. Leaves the tongue awakened. Finishes somewhat dry.
I could, without a doubt, drink this beer all day long. Refreshing and light bodied. Very easy to drink.
This is a world class beer and one of the best, most polished saisons I’ve ever had. Crisp and refreshing to the point of almost being too easy to drink, considering such a high abv. Wonderful creation.
3/17/07 TheBeerOrg (1563), Kentucky, USA May 24, 2007 Updated: Dec 28, 2007Pours light golden with a mostly maintained foamy off-white head and an effervescent body. Aroma is wonderfully yeasty: notes of honey, bubble gum, barnyard, herbs, and pineapple esters. Taste is well balanced with both explosive esters and lightly bitter herbs. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lush carbnonation. This is most delicious!
I had the chance to sample this on tap at Rich O’s. On tap it is not as estery, and rates closer to a 4. Still an excellent beer, but no bouquet of esters that makes this so delicious. badlizard (2324), Berkeley, California, USA May 20, 2007 Tasted at Holiday Wine Cellar. Hazy amber with fluffy white head. Aroma strong barn yard funk and sweet malt. Tangy, bright palate. Taste if pear, orange, cloves, and spices. Very Good.
