| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 21, 2007 750 ml bottle that is 1 year old. Pour is a hazy gold with a nice white head. Aroma is spicy and tart with sweet malt, citrus, lemon, pepper, and fruit. Flavors of yeast, citrusy fruit, lemon tart, funk, and alcohol. I have actually enjoyed other saisons more. This one is just to alcoholic. I like this style to be light and refreshing unlike this one. Papsoe (14841), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 19, 2007 (Bottle 75 cl) Hazy, golden with a dense, white head. Extreme aroma of yeast and diacetyl. Fairly full-bodied with sweetish malt, a distinct yeastiness, diacetyl and fruit. Way too much diacetyl. The finish is strongly alcoholic. This was just way too Belgian - in the not so hot sense. 030407 bgburdman9 (822), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Apr 1, 2007 Popped open with the loudest cork ever from a beer. Poured light with some orangish hints and a pretty big white head. Aroma of some citrus, spice-maybe some pepper, and some funkiness. Flavor was light, citrusy. Palate was incredible. Although a little alcohol was noticable this not sweet at all. I would like to have this with some chicken or turkey. atw (2), USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 24, 2007 mellow fruits + spice, yeasty, cloudy amber. aromatic, balanced, and satisfying from start to finish. 9.5% alcohol was barely noticable. paired well w/ herb chicken. tomthompson89 (1471), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 17, 2007 Aroma is sour, grassy (hay), with a touch of lemon zest. Flavor is deep and complex, I wonder how so much can go on at once. Slight sourdough flavor, nices kiss of the hops, alchohol is decptively well hidden, finishes crisp. For a style that has never been my favorite, or so I thought, this is a wonder to behold.
