Pours a dark murky yellow with a big white head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma of citrus, yeast, hay and spices. The taste is wheaty, floral and mildly spicy. This is a typical Belgian in my opinion, it’s good but not really my thing. BeerandBlues2 (3237), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Flavor was sweet, dry, citrus, and spicy. Nicely done. Tingly, dry mouthfeel. Light-medium body. Nicely done and worthy of a try. TheBeerGod (3177), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Oct 19, 2003 Pours a golden blond with a strong fluffy white head. The nose is sweet and earthy. There is malt, candy sugar, musty basement and moldy rag in the nose. Absolutely wonderful taste! More malt, some barnyard notes, wheat and yeast, flowers, light spice and many more that I can't describe. Complex and bountiful taste. It finishes with a light bitterness and definite spice. Awesome beer! RichardGretton (3166), Leicestershire, England
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 1, 2006 Bottle. Orangey blonde beer with a strong bubbly head. The aroma is lightly fruity and spiced and the flavour vinous and lightly spiced, but not as strong as the alcohol percentage suggests. Overall a really great beer.
