| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 4, 2007 Slightly cloudy golden body topped by an initially large white head. Tons of wild yeast on the nose with hints of bananas, cheese and all those cool things you get from the genuine Dupont yeast. There’s never too much of that stuff. Taste is obviously very yeasty with some vanilla and a warming alcohol that takes a bit too much room IMHO. Overall feeling of drinking an alcoholised ice-cream. Moderately spicy with spices of the peppery kind. The generous amount of herbal hops is a pleasant surprise. All-in-all a great funky grassy spicy beer. Yeast-wise it seems very similar to the Moinette Bio but the rest of the recipe reminds me of the Moinette Blonde. Better in reasonable servings. I used to think it was as good as any Dupont but that’s because I always shared bottles with friends. After a 750ml by myself I’ve changed my mind, it is better in smaller servings. I prefer the lighter and funkier Vieille Provision and Moinette Biologique. Another great offering from a brewery which products are as popular and affordable as Windows PCs yet as reliable as Macs. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 13, 2004 Pours a cloudy light orange with a tall rocky white head. Aroma is very yeasty, floral, light spice, with hint of orange peel and clove. Taste has a nice carbonation that really brings the flavors up front quickly. Yeasty flavors give this brew a breadiness, and the light orange peel iss very refreshing. This brew has a very dry mellow hop finish, with a hint of lemon, and a light tartness. thebeertourist (2799), Oslo, Norway

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 16, 2007 Great-looking orange hue with a lofty head and nice lace. Inviting bouquet of aromas -- yeast and spice. Mouthfeel was tingly, but the carbonation wasn’t as lively as most beers from this mold. Slight sweetness blended with a chewy yeastiness. Mild bitterness balanced things out well, and hung out behind some bold spices -- pepper, coriander, clove. Other notes of citrus (lemon and orange rind). Pleasant beer. after4ever (2773), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Feb 20, 2008 750, corked and baled. Crystal clear dark gold with a towering platinum blonde head. Acres of fuzzy lace. Medium body, soft carb. Beautifully presented. Sweet grass, floral notes, caramel, and general goodness on the mid-palate. Long slightly sugary finish. Compared to the aged Moinette Blonde I just cracked, this is a bit of a piker, but I bet it’s lovely in time. I’m hip to pretty much everything at the top of Dupont’s line, though--these guys aren’t playin’ around.
