750 ml bottle pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Strong sour aromas, funky yeast, citrus, and fruit. The flavor is like the aroma tart and very dry. Paired nicely with thai food at Thai Pastry.

thanks to mcbackus for the bottle. cloudy golden color, nice big head that dissipats quickly, but leaves a wonderful lacing. Very aromatic, skunky, and sour, with touches of lemon, and pepper. Flavour is smooth, and almost a touch lambic like with the sourness. Wow, this is a great saison, easily the best of it’s style.

On draft at Capone’s. Pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of candied malts and orange peel. Taste of sweetened candied malts and fresh yeast. Very nice, yet very expensive.

37,5cl Bottle. Cloudy golden colour, lasting white head. Fruity aroma with notes of yeast, spices, a hint of sourness. Flavour is spicy, yeast, sweet and sour fruits, with a good bitter finish. Rich, smooth mouthfeel, slightly dry. Really good stuff.

Hazy gold. Billowing, creamy, off white head. Aroma of big slightly sour yeast, crisp citrus/pine hops, and grains. Flavor is must, yeast, crisp hops, grains, slightly sour, moderately bitter, underlying alcohol throughout. Dry, bitter finish. Intense brew for a saison. Balanced, medium body. Excellent. Best saison I’ve had.

Bottle, 2007. Aroma yeasty/doughy with citrus, grape, light pepper, some alcohol. Flavor more bready than doughy with more of the pepper, similar fruit feel to the nose. Gentle hops and somewhat less gentle alcohol in the finish. Very tasty.

Bottled 75cl. Beautiful appearance: Rich head, good lacework, great color. Complex aroma of yeast, clove, white bread, melon, coriander, apricot, peach and a huge amount of pear. Spicy yeasty taste. Practically no acidity. Some alcohol showing up on the swallow. Sweetish. A lot of cloves apparent. Reminiscence of cloves and pear in the finish. A very good beer.

750 ml bottle. Golden with a slight haze. High carbonation level. Tall white coarse head. Powdery malt aroma. Wheaty flavours. Distinct Belgian yeast characters. Spicy hops. High hop bitterness. Strong flavours that linger. Peppery bitterness in the finish.
