Dec 12, 2006 On draft at Milltown in Carrboro, NC. Hazy orange color with a big fluffy white head. Some yeast and barnyard funk in the aroma but also some hints of clove. Flavor is rather complex. I picked up notes of cloves, light citrus, dry cinnamon, and then some banana as it warmed. Extremely easy to drink and packing quite a wallop. Fantastic beer.

Dec 31, 2008 Pours a bright hazy golden orange with a thin off white head. Nose is full and earhty with some tart citrus. The flavor is the same but a bit more complex and a light mouthfeel.

Aug 2, 2009 Golden orange color with huge white head, that keeps growing. Dusty aroma of grass, pale malt. Earthy, lightly sweet flavor with a bit of sourness. Effervescent mouthfeel with nice carbonation, very dry finish.

Sep 28, 2002 Foamy, respectable head. Sweet, bready aroma that contrasts with the more fruity taste. Nicely balanced malt/hops. Dry finish, not bad.

Mar 7, 2004 Updated: Jan 5, 2006Off-white creamy head, good lacing and mostly lasting. Murky, white body. Lightly hoppy aroma (flowers, citrus). Lighlty sweet, lighty bitter initial flavour. Moderately bitter short finish. Dry mouthfeel, lightly astringent.

Dec 31, 2008 750ml bottle from west lakeview.... pours a hazy cloudy orange with an overflowing fluffy white head... aroma of earthy mustiness with a medicinal citrus qualities... flavors of citrus with a minerally consistency with lively carbonation. abv is hard to detect. goes down and an above average mouthfeel. i wonder how this one tastes with some age on it...

Jul 2, 2008 Pours an honey orange color with a nice fluffy bone colored head. Nose is citrus, grass, pears, yeast, and clover honey. Taste is fruity and sweet but not very complex. Extremely refreshing and there is not any tartness or funk that is characteristic of some of Dupont’s other saisons. I like it, and at 9.5% the alcohol content is a ghost.

Aug 17, 2005 Yeast and sugary. Impossible to pour with all the foam that kept pouring out, but that was nice actually. A little frustrating, but what I’m I going to do? Bits of fine pear, lemon, hay, weed, straw. Bunches of dough, yeast, cookie, bread flavor to chew on. Big mouthfeel.
