Some yeast and barnyard funk in the aroma but also some hints of clove. Flavor is rather complex. I picked up notes of cloves, light citrus, dry cinnamon, and then some banana as it warmed. Extremely easy to drink and packing quite a wallop. Fantastic beer. AgentSteve (1379), SF Bay Area, California, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 2, 2008 Pours an honey orange color with a nice fluffy bone colored head. Nose is citrus, grass, pears, yeast, and clover honey. Taste is fruity and sweet but not very complex. Extremely refreshing and there is not any tartness or funk that is characteristic of some of Dupont’s other saisons. I like it, and at 9.5% the alcohol content is a ghost. jaymobrown (1360), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Impossible to pour with all the foam that kept pouring out, but that was nice actually. A little frustrating, but what I’m I going to do? Bits of fine pear, lemon, hay, weed, straw. Bunches of dough, yeast, cookie, bread flavor to chew on. Big mouthfeel.
