From the tap poured hazy dark golden color with very little head. Good warming fruity flavor with a lingering aftertaste.

Aroma of skunk is a bit disappointing but the pour is intense gold with a small white head. Flavor is more robust than expected; citrus, herb, and bread. Not overly thick on the palate. A good beer but not deserving of the rating.

Bottle from Sam’s Clybourn, I think. Pours an effervescent golden yellowy orange with a fluffy, fizzy head. Nose is bready and citric, some light coriander and white pepper. Slightly sweet. Slight banana in there. A touch of skunk, actually a very nice smelling beer. Taste is a bit clovey and dry. Clean bitterness and warming in the chest. Light banana on the tongue with some mild tartness. Fizzy and effervescent again. Pretty taste stuff, though could use a touch of acidity, I think. Nice.

750ml 2007 edition bottle at Monk Cafe. Very much reminded me of La Fin Du Monde. Taste is great.. clove, orange, some ginger, and spice. Alcohol was there if you looked for it, but for the most part extremely well hidden. Awesome huey orange color. Vivacious carbonation. Went extremely well with food. Would highly recomend.

2007 Bottle - Thanks Matt! - Pours a pale and hazy yellow with a large white head...aroma is fruity from the start, massive pear, also apple and banana, spicy grain, honey...flavour is similar, all the fruit and spice, with more straw and grain, suprisingly dry in the finish...this was very enjoyable...

[bottle from beers of europe rating #400] The aroma is yeasty, fruity: peach banana, herbal notes of coriander. fullbodied, dry peppery finish, slightly bitter.
