Its not bad even though saisons dont do it for me at all. Thanks be to edward (brooklynboy) for the cool find. Very acidic taste and lots of yeast. It is strong but barely drinkable. Im sure that if I wanted to tough this one out I would be able to take it.

Pleasing golden body with a thick layer of foam on top. The aroma is spicy, clove, pepper, and some leafy malt and yeast notes. The flavor is only a tad bitter, but bits of peach, lemon and honey are all present. Quite the outstanding beer. Very complex, yet keeps a good enough presence to not be over the top.

750ml 2007 edition bottle at Monk Cafe. Very much reminded me of La Fin Du Monde. Taste is great.. clove, orange, some ginger, and spice. Alcohol was there if you looked for it, but for the most part extremely well hidden. Awesome huey orange color. Vivacious carbonation. Went extremely well with food. Would highly recomend.

On tap @ hopleaf. Cloudly yellow with a white head. Citrusy, yeasty, spicy aroma. Taste is lemon citrus, vanilla, yeasty, with some spice and some bitterness towards the finish. The difference is negligible between this and the Dupont Saison. This one is twice as alcoholic? 3.9 overall

750ml bottle, served at basement temperature of 55°. Just wonderful. 4.1 overall.

Hazy golden in color with a thick creamy head that remains and nice lacing. The Aroma is bready, bret yeast, pear and hay. Flavor is spicy aged lemon, wheat and sweet malty spices. Medium to full body, crisp and clean. Highly carbonated, long dry finish.
