Fuzzy blond in color with funky citrus dominating the nose. Malty palate supports with crisp citrus, fruity flavors balancing nicely with noble hops. Very enjoyable beer!

thanks to mcbackus for the bottle. cloudy golden color, nice big head that dissipats quickly, but leaves a wonderful lacing. Very aromatic, skunky, and sour, with touches of lemon, and pepper. Flavour is smooth, and almost a touch lambic like with the sourness. Wow, this is a great saison, easily the best of it’s style.

What a fantastic beer this is, and I hope this rating doesn’t bring anymore tears to drewbeerme’s eyes. Pours an unclear orange golden with lots of fine tiny bubbles and a huge rocky white frothy head 4.5. Great aroma floral and spicy, noble hops, yeasty, orange peel, noticeably malty. Flavor is spicy and rich, floral hops, lightly fruity, some candi sugar, very yeasty, seems like a touch of nutmeg, lightly funky, cheesy, the sweetness really disguises the coriander, some citrus. I could drink this all year long. Just a hint of alcohol present, but doesn’t at all elude to 9.5%! Fantastic finish, quick leaving a longer lasting yeast aftertaste. One of my favorites. This is the beer equivalent of a vodka soda with a splash of lime, i.e. delicate sweetness while still being dry and extremely crisp and refreshing, ok maybe thats a stretch. Medium bodied, softer abundant crisp carbonation with a very quick clean finish. [simply amazing with some blue veined cheese]

Clear yellow golden color with a white head that has good retention and lacing. Smells of bubblegum, chamomille, flowers, and hints of pepper and ginger. Light spice, chamomille, clove, and bubblegum in the taste. Medium bodied with high carbonation. Good stuff.

2006 bottle. Pours a beautiful hazy light amber, with a big fluffy head. Standard saison aromas of earth, floral notes, and a touch of sweetness. Surprisingly sweet flavor, with crisp carbonation to cleanse the palate. Finishes with a touch of tartness. The alcohol content is not noticeable at all, which makes this very dangerous. Drop the ABV by about 5%, and this would be an excellent sessionable saison.

750ml bottle at Eulogy in Philadelphia, Excellent worth the $...Orange amber hue with frothy white head, yeast and hints of acidic fruit and spice characteristic of saison, the best one I have had to date, medium carbonation and body.

’Wit’-ish in color; thin but lively head with great lace; Aroma is firm, but I can’t put my finger on it. Dry right away. Very full mouthfell with a beautiful sharpness across the tongue. Alcohol is well represented. Has a lot of the yeasty characteristics of a witbeer. Small amount of spiciness reminds you that it is a saison. Another winner from Dupont.

Duponts christmas saison brew. outstanding stuff. golden straw colour, slightly hazy which took on a green hue due to the christmas lights at my pub. clean foamy head. many different tastes - a complex beer. my notes include oranges, yeast, bananas, cloves, wheat grass. unlike other beers , it maintains its tastes and does not mellow after a few sips. not a cheap or easy beer to finf but worth it . the magnum bottle may look like a lot to drink but this was a pleasure all the way.
