Wow... this is a good beer - even after the Fantome Pissenlit! The cork nearly killed me. The foamy white head nearly drowned me. The Stonehenge size sediment has dwarfed me. All while the flavours of orange zest, coriander, crazy farmhouse yeast with a subdivison of malt have sent me to the crazy house. This is a fine, fine beer! I look forward to going nuts on it again... mmhnto (31), Lisle, Illinois, USA

Aroma has honey notes and citrus spice with heavy alcohol. Dry with power packed finish. This is probably one of my favorite beers of all time. illidurit (896), Santa Cruz, California, USA

Probably my best pour ever; the goldenrod liquid rises just above the Duvel logo and the head stretches 3 fingers upward to create a perfect convex cap just above the rim. Nice ample lacing too.
Smell contains notes of lemon, green apple, yeast, coriander, grass, vinous grape.
Taste evokes earthy lemongrass, straw, excellent spiciness, light breadiness, orange peel, unripe pear.
Mouthfeel is great, a very refreshing beer. Between thin and medium bodied. The alcohol is never really tasted but the warmth of it is pleasant.
Drinkability is wonderful, I had no problem polishing off the 750. CafeeOndineke (32), Aalst, Belgium

This has all it needs: dryness, muskyness, sourness and it’s refreshing like nothing else! An awesome beer, deserves the 100 percentile, definately! solesaver (4), Oklahoma, USA does not count | 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Sep 11, 2009 Wow, what a great Saison. The miriad of spices and fruits with a very pleasant efforvescence was quite enjoyable. Hard to drink others after this.
