Tap @ Toronado 12/31/04. This seemed to be rare find on tap ($8.50/glass) and well worth it. I’ve never seen a bottle of it. A rich orange and gold color with a foamy white head. Candy, bubblegum, spiced and citrus flavors. Smooth and creamy without the bite that I expected at the finish. Sweet finish with a long dry aftertaste.

Great Saison. I have had a few better, but this is a very close second. Wonderful full-bodied taste with a slight bit more bitterness than usual. Very nice and original.

On tap at Zeno’s. Great farmhouse aroma funk, wheat, yeasties. Floral and aromatic with light hops and orange blossom. Golden amber pale clear with thin off-white lacing head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts sweet with wheat and pilsner malt flavor. Light herbal-floral hops character and orange blossoms. Bready. Medium floral after with light chalky taste. Really nice saison.

Draught at Blue Nile, Minneapolis. Last pull from the keg before it blew. Belgian qualities in the aroma; fresh, gym locker room. A little allspice in the nose as well. Unique and yeasty. Murky, dark gold. Thick, large, slightly off-white head with artistic lace. Creamy, yeasty aroma. Very good brew.

11.2 oz bottle. cap popped off with a loud pfffff, and foam started cascading over the lip of the bottle and all over the counter. Poured into a NB glass.
Hazy orangy yellow. Lots of yeast in suspension.
Aroma is fruity with banana, apple, pear some citrus and some funky cheese. a little spicyness in there too.
Flavor is banana bread, lemon, corriander.
Finish is lightly sweet lightly dry. Awesome beer

Tallahassee, Fl. - Liquor Loft - 750 ml corked bottle. Hazy, medium peach colored pour with a soft silky white head that leaves delicate clingy lacing. Fresh flowery aroma with hints of pear juice, a mixture of spices - perhaps coriander. Full-bodied flavor with some soft citrus notes, light yeast, hints of sweet uncooked cake mix. Spicy notes shine through in the back end with some coriander notes and a lemony aftertaste that permeates throughout. Thickish creamy mouthfeel that coats the tongue and warms the belly. Excellent Saison that hits the spot after a long day of last minute Christmas shopping.

SuperSaison …Intensity in the doughy yeast and spicy hops…Immensity for the cushiony cereals (barley and wheat?) and grassy bitterness…Boozed up Vieille Provision Saison Dupont, yet wise and reverend...An irresistible Dulcinea under 10 degrees Celsius...

Pours out with a large white head, yellow color body. Immediately the smells are coming out of it, yeast, hops, malt. This beer is really good, if not incredible. Taste is sweet, yet strong, smooth yet you know this beer is not joking around. Something I could drink a large amount of, and feel terrible in the morning. Really good beer. Really really good beer.
