Bottle - 750ml. Superb cloudy golden body with average, lasting white foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with banana and coriander hints. Its sharp, well balanced taste carries herbal notes and hides the alcohol perfectly. Ends with a long bitter/herbal finish. Another excellent Saison from Dupont.

Bottle from Styles via Matta!!!! Thanks guys. WIld funky aroma of Brett. and farm. Something about this smell gets me going now. Hazy yellow color with a nice white head. Good lacing. Light body. Very carbonated, like vinegar and baking soda. Funky citric acid flavors. Nice!!

Draft at DRE. Hazy medium gold pour with fluffy off-white head. Aroma is funky, spicy yeast, dry flowery notes, hopcitrus. The mouthfeel is velvety, very smooth, very complex, with dry floral notes coupled with spicy and funky yeast notes, plus a solid hop bill, and some citric fruity flavor qualities. This one is a very nice saison.

Thanks to secret santa for this one. Pours out a cloudy golden color with a thick white head. Aroma is a bit hoppy with some fruit and vinious notes. Very nice apperance with a rocky white head. The taste was very smooth for the alcohol content. Very solid beer with notes of fruit and some hops and that funky vinious lingering taste. Very solid and complex beer, but at the same time very refreshing. Awesome beer, thanks a bunch santa.

Pours a cloudy orangey straw color with a large white head, but not as much foam as Vieille Provision. Aroma of honey, grass, flour, sweetened bread, oak, white wine, and light alcohol warming. Similar taste with stronger honey notes, some grass, pepper, and bread/grain. Finishes lightly bitter and quite spicy, earthy and a little buttery. Medium bodied but heavier than other saisons and substantially less carbonated (but still well carbonated). This was like a funky pungent tripel, and/or a more warming saison. Very nice stuff.

Bottle. Dark yellow with huge white, creamy head with excellent retention and funky lacing. First the aroma is dominated by hay and grass from the hops, as the beer warms fruity and complex aromas reveal themselves presenting with lots of yellow fruit (apricot, plums, lemon and apple). Flavor is very dry and a bit sour, but dominated by almost biting bitterness in the finish. A little bit of fruity sweetness is also felt in the aftertaste. Lively, but nonetheless, soft carbonation (is that a contradiction?) and light "fluffy" mouth feel. Long aftertaste with a little alcohol. However it does not give you the impression of being more than maybe 7% ABV. An excellent saison style ale with character and bite. Enjoyed with soup on Jerusalem Artichoke and giant shrimps.

Nearly savory aromas with lemon pepper and strong yeast. Very light orange, and cloudy, with a lasting pillowy white head. Sharp acidity on the palate, lots of natural flavors, barley and bright wheat. Some peppery alcohol on the finish, which lasts well. A medium weight beer that tastes, well, authentic.

Bottle at home. This one had a couple of years age on it. Hazy golden pour with a good head on top. Aroma of citrus fruit, spices. This is one of my all time favourites. Sweet, sour, dry, hops incredibly complex. A Classic!
