Pale yellow clear color (the result of a careful pour.) Aromas of citrus and hay. With the same citrus and crisp spiciness on the finish. Excellent.

Bottle. Great beer with food. Pours wiht a nice yellow cloudy color. very strong yeast aromas with some funk and spices. Greta flavors of bread, yeast and some spices. Very creamy palate but at the same some bubbliness. Much better in my mind than the regular Saison.

Corked and caged courtesy of boboski - thanks! Cork reveals 2002 vintage - sampled here in December 2007. Super spicy nose - malt- and coriander-heavy. Yeasty with pear, pepper, orange peel, and a bit of lemon grass. Cloudy golden pour, but still very bright, with a dense creamy, rocky white head. Taste is brightly malty and yeasty, with dominate coriander. Full body with a little heft from the alcohol but no burn. Feel is smooth as velvet, and the aftertaste is dry with just a bit of spicy heat/harshness. Nice and woody, and not overly sweet like many a Saison. Classy! And rather excellent.

Draft. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a good size head. The head dwindled a bit during the drinking but stayed with a nice ring. Spice is present in the aroma and taste. Corriander is present i n thearoma. Taste is of lemon, ugly fruit, yeast, and orange peel. Finishes awesome. Cheers!

sampled at the Kulminator on tap: Floral and earthy aroma reminiscent of brett spring forth from this beautifully cloudy beer. It poured with 2 fingers of head which laced beautifully down the side of the glass. Flavor is of a summer afternoon. Earthy hops, floral notes, cereal malt, all balance out with harmony. Mouth feel is light and bubbly, really complements the flavors and the feelings of a summer day.

Popped open with the loudest cork ever from a beer. Poured light with some orangish hints and a pretty big white head. Aroma of some citrus, spice-maybe some pepper, and some funkiness. Flavor was light, citrusy. Palate was incredible. Although a little alcohol was noticable this not sweet at all. I would like to have this with some chicken or turkey.

On tap Brick Store/Decatur. A hazed golden orange pour with a creamy white head. Nose is complex in that I’m not sure if it corriander of ginger is the main spice that I pick up. Huge fruity (almost bannana) flavor followed by a bitterness that leans to the tart side. Strong hint of abv but not overpowering. Carbonation and mouthfeel are very solid. Nothing at all bad about this beer. As it warms the corriander really comes to the front.
