Pours hazy golden straw with a thick frothy/rocky white head. Vibrant aroma of citric fruits, big grassy hops, and a bit of yeast. Flavor is big grassy/herbal hops, with some underlying citrus, and some nice yeast. Palate is full and bitter. Well balanced, and delicious.

Sampled a little cup from the tap at Dilly Deli in Cincinnati. Pours a hazy light orange yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very nice, spicy and a nice zesty fruitiness, just a hint of malt, very trippely. Some sweet candy and a little but of a tartness. Flavor starts very spicy and sweet, all kinds of fruitiness going on in there, along with a light citric and tart apple character that emerges before drying out to a crisp and peppery finish. Medium rich body and a light but zesty carbonation. Really tasty treat

POured a hazy yellow with thin white head. Nose is cloves, cinnamon, toasted grain, hints of fruits, earth, musty basement. Flavor is crisp citrus, soft spices, hints of sweet cherry, candy sugar. Pretty damn tasty.

Bottle. Very pretty golden pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is citrus, hay, floral notes, and a bit of pine. Very complex tasting with all sorts of spicy and herbal notes and a citrusy character, but still fairly mellow. Lots of earthy and grassy flavors as well. Has a mild bitterness. Barely noticed the alcohol considering the percentage. Very well put together stuff.

750ml bottle, many times. Clear yellow with huge foamy head. Infinite retention, extensive lacing. Nose is very estery (banana). Some spices and a touch of alcohol. Taste is estery and spicy. Finish is a bit bitter, spicy and warm. Quite dry overall. Finish is fruity. Quite simple andf straightforward but really well balanced. A bit warm on the finish. Really nice looking. Great brew.

RnH: Extreme Winter: Party time! What a delicious and refreshing brew! Found the aroma to be very bright, hints of citrus and forest... while the taste was much of the same. Taste was a bit earthy, but very light, no smoke or dirt, more pine. Also some light fruits, mild citrus. Body is crisp, almost dry, decent lacing.

Traded 2007 bottle with Christmas dinner. Tons of ratings out there so let me provide my recommendation: drink this at 50F and let it go from there. Drink this too cool and all you get is a punch of tart, sour barnyard and alcohol. I was not too interested until I let this sit out and warm up a touch.
