Tried this last night @ Bier Stein - As Mr. Burns would say, Excellent...This is quite a badass Saison. Pours golden and grainey, with a monstrous white cloud like rocky head. Wonderfully citric and tart in the nose, this is like smelling a new leather wallet, mixed with lots of dry fruit and other assorted yeasty characteristics. Flavor is nicely spicy and herbal, this would be wonderful when used with a food pairing. Crisp and tart, with alot of citrus and corriander, lots of fresh grassiness and horse saddle sourness and again with the dried fruits. A treasure!

Aug 17, 2008 This is a wonderful beer. Aromas and flavors will remind you of the best white beer you have ever tasted. Yeasty. creamy and just delicious This is spicey, bready, and I LOVE it. I want more!! Thanks to solan at knightly spirits for recommending this.

Aug 9, 2008 [1459-20080531] 750mL bottle. Saison-esque sour old yeast aroma. Hazy, light orange grey body with a foamy medium-lasting off-white head. Sweet and yeasty spice flavour has a sour finish. Medium body. Lovely composition.

Aug 9, 2008 This beers reminds me of a summer day. Aroma of grass, dry hay, barn, spice. Tastes of hay, pepper, lemon and vanilla. A really great saison.

Aug 6, 2008 I want to have this beer’s babies. I’m currently basking in the glory of $14 bottles of this stuff and life is pretty bloody good. Despite its size there’s nothing too obvious about it, but there’s lemony hops, peppery yeast, vanilla ice cream malt and some gin-like alcohol warmth, though it really is ridiculously easy to drink for its size - I’d say it appears noticeably less boozy than the Moinettes. Very hoppy in an extremely low key way, if that’s possible. Everything it beautifully rounded, everything is in place, and it tastes as good as I recall it from Belgium. Love it. Even better than Saison Dupont.

Jul 31, 2008 750ml bottle from BevMo Carmel Mountain. Pour is a hazy gold with a nice white head. Aroma is spicy and tart with sweet malt, citrus, lemon, pepper, and fruit. Flavors of yeast, citrusy fruit, lemon tart, funk, and alcohol.
