375 ml 9,5 % t.h.t. (guaranteed maximal containable quality date) 08/2011. Drank it young, she was beautiful with a white perky top. A sort of fine old geuze without the time spent. It can well be kept but why should you. Its fine right now. Also the bottle is uneasy kept in the fridge. Is this where saison and young gueuze (lambic) meet? An alltogether fine beer with perfect presence and flavor. Have yourself the depot to end it with.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head. Fantastic aroma of spice, citrus, oak and yeast - oh so rustic. The flavour carries the same beautiful character and no sign of the stronger ABV, it’s very well hidden with only the slightest hint of warmth at the back of the palate. It’s also quite lively in mouthfeel but finishes dry. The subtleties of this beer is the clincher and one to savour at any time of year. (RateBeer Sydney Xmas Gathering 2009 - cheers Bridge!)

Bottle thanks to my brother! Pours a really beautiful hazy orange/amber with an enormous super-fluff off-white head. Laces a teeny bit at the beginning. Seems like a saison/geuze hybrid almost because of the nice yeastiness and white grapes but is balanced with a sweetness. Really great beer, hope to have more of it/find others from here.

From tap, 2 years old at Delrium in Brussels. Blonde beer with a ligghr white head. Aroma is grainy, malty and not very strong. The taste is a sort of much more ameliorated version of the ’Blonde Leffe’: grainy, malty with a light hopbitter finish. The difference with the ’Blonde Leffe’ is that this beer is a far more complex - and balanced! - one.

pours hazy gold with a huge rocky head. aroma is earthy and yeasty with some pear and white grape fruits. flavour is quite earthy again with some fruity apple pear hints and a light funky zip. Lightly sweet white bread and floral hop bitter presence. Slightly dry finish. Not a hint of alc either. Very tasty.

Draft. Hazy golden pour with a healthy white head. Aroma is sweet bready Malts wig a spicy yeaty accent. A touch of farmyard hay and some earthy notes as well. Flavor is fruity, Candi sweetness with a bright yeastiness and light warming on the finish. Excellent.

on tap at RnH, NYC. Pours hazy gold. Arouma of pine needles and bread. Taste caramel malts, cinnamon and spice, some citrus. Alcohol makes an appearance in the finish, not much bitter. Smooth going down with spright carbonation.

On draft at Paradiso in Dupont. Gold with white head. Flavor is dry with some sweetness and floral notes. Best saison I’ve tried.

75cl bottle from Utobeer Market Stall. Pours a clear amber colour with a white head. Bit of a gusher this one. Nice long lasting head. Aromas of citrus, caramel, herbs, sweet spices. Flavours of malts, bit earthy, nutty, honey, tangerines. Finishes smooth,a bit dry and bitter.
