Drank it young, she was beautiful with a white perky top. A sort of fine old geuze without the time spent. It can well be kept but why should you. Its fine right now. Also the bottle is uneasy kept in the fridge. Is this where saison and young gueuze (lambic) meet? An alltogether fine beer with perfect presence and flavor. Have yourself the depot to end it with.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 24, 2009 Bottle. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head. Fantastic aroma of spice, citrus, oak and yeast - oh so rustic. The flavour carries the same beautiful character and no sign of the stronger ABV, it’s very well hidden with only the slightest hint of warmth at the back of the palate. It’s also quite lively in mouthfeel but finishes dry. The subtleties of this beer is the clincher and one to savour at any time of year. (RateBeer Sydney Xmas Gathering 2009 - cheers Bridge!) | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 21, 2009 Bottle thanks to my brother! Pours a really beautiful hazy orange/amber with an enormous super-fluff off-white head. Laces a teeny bit at the beginning. Seems like a saison/geuze hybrid almost because of the nice yeastiness and white grapes but is balanced with a sweetness. Really great beer, hope to have more of it/find others from here. wimpie133 (185), Brugge, Belgium
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 21, 2009 From tap, 2 years old at Delrium in Brussels. Blonde beer with a ligghr white head. Aroma is grainy, malty and not very strong. The taste is a sort of much more ameliorated version of the ’Blonde Leffe’: grainy, malty with a light hopbitter finish. The difference with the ’Blonde Leffe’ is that this beer is a far more complex - and balanced! - one. Trev (886), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA

Slightly dry finish.
Not a hint of alc either. Very tasty. Jblauvs (600), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
