A friend’s mom was so happy to bring back real Texas beer. Unfortunately "The proud beer of the Southwest" is from Minnesota, and Gluek. Clear gold with a thin white skiff. Not much in the nose. Some body, thin flavour but sweet. Bit of annoying building finish.

If it wasn’t for the malty aroma, this would of been a worse rating. Yellow color with a head that disappated quickly. Good lacing on the glass. Left a bad aftertaste.

Poured yellow with a good white head. Has the usual swill beer aroma but the flavor has more of a creamy flavor. Metalic taste on the palate. The light is much better.

Typical Gluek brew. They have a unique flavor to them. It doesn’t taste like normal beer, but instead has this weird creamy flavor. Not good. Cheap ass beer to get drunk with. $3.98 a 12 pack.

This is the only beer that should be under the name ’DURANGO’. As for the pilsner, light and NA, scrap them please. As a descendent of the founders of the land of Durango, I am proud it bears the name. For those who dont know, Durango was a planned territory of New Spain that extended from Northern Central Mexico to Southern Colorado. This never happened, well, not officially at least, but Durango USA and Durango MEX kept their names. This beer tries to remind you of the ’Durango days’ of the old west 1800s & movies. And no, it has nothing to do with the car!

Much better than the pilsner. Why would someone name a beer after a car. And what does the wood pattern label have to do with anything about durangos, and the southwest. Maybe you're supposed to drink it all and then figure it out.
