Cast at The Smithfield, Derby, at the ’Smithfest’ - (pub beer festival) 08-09-07 According to the Durham website, this had previously been discontinued because of a lack of interest in cask stouts. Glad that this beer has made a re-appearance because I rather enjoyed it. Poured black with small head, typical roasted notes that one might expect, very tasty and full flavoured if a bit cloying at times, enjoyable but I would imagine one would be plenty.
