 rauchbier (2873), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England
May 5, 2003 Bottle conditioned. Amber colour, Initially good head but short lived, moderate condition. Aroma starts with intense citrus and pine but soon drifts off into a perfume and yeast note. Fruity citrus hop in the mouth with some background maltiness to balance and a yeasty hop dominated finish with a hint of Orval brett as an afterthought. More of a Tripel than a bock.
