Smell is juicy, dank, hop resin and California pine woods round. Inviting. Flavor is just plain hop dank. Wow. This has serious hop flavor. Strong, up front, and insanely fresh. Tending towards the British hop flavor characters, but still with tons of dripping resinous character. Wow. A base of caramel lays under for support. Long finish in dry, cascade-like hops. Nice.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 2, 2006 Draft at Volo at the suggestion of hogtownharry. Beautiful clear, medium amber with a beige head and good lacing. Nice balanced malt and hop aroma, light brown sugar and caramel notes, english style dusty, herbal hops. Sweet caramel maltiness up front, fading to a bold hoppiness, lots of floral and herbal dusty flavors. Medium body and gentle carbonation. My favorite of the Ontario IPA’s on this day. rudolf (1783), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 5, 2008 On tap at C’est what? Copper liquid is topped with a frothy beige cap. The aroma is heavy citric hops(mostly grapefruit)with some pine, followed by bready, cookie dough and caramel. Taste is bright cirtus rind hops, fresh leafy greens and pine with some butterscotch and caramel sweetness. This is quite dry and chalky, and finishes bitter and and tasty. I wish it was available near me! kiefdog (1631), Tampa, Florida, USA
