I tried this beer at the "Beer Bistro" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer was a translucent reddish-gold with a thin white head. The aroma was primarily floral hops with smidgen of malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, medium carbonated, and bitter on the tongue. The flavour was grapefruity hops, some peppery hints, and a little malt.

Woody hop-forward aroma packs a good punch, seconded by accents of malt, caramel and berry fruit. Wonderful big-hop flavour provides full-on bitterness throughout, with a nice fruity blackberry infusion and smooth caramel ice cream palate. An excellent big-flavoured beer that has enough complexity to be more than a one-riff wonder. Beer Snob (382), Ontario, Canada

Jeez, I like everything I’ve tasted from this brewery. Have been craving a good IPA, and this quenched it nicely.
Nice pile of hops cut with a touch of malt. A hint of citrus and a wonderful bitter tang left behind in the mouth.

A coppery brown beer a lacy head. It smells very much of floral and citrus hop notes. The taste is very hoppy, crisp and clean with a very nice dry finish. If you love hops, as I do, this beer is stellar! It somewhat reminds me of Anchor Brewings Liberty Ale StompBrockmore (300), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

The tap handle for this was a syringe full of hops, so along with the name, I knew to expect big hops and that’s what I got. Really nice aromatic, light piney/citrusy hops, with a big presence. A decent amount of malt balances it out. Reminds me of a bolder, hoppier Tankhouse Ale. Mild-moderate bitterness in the finish, quite sessionable. This a really nice and supremely drinkable IPA and like other here have mentioned, it good to be finally getting these beers from Ontario brewers. ladnewton (247), London, Greater London, England

Exquisitely hoppy, pleasant mouthfeel and bitter aftertaste. In the style of an American Pale Ale, again compares well with Dark Star APA. crushinat0r (227), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hoppy (as one would expect). Slightly bitter aftertaste. Generally not very appealing. beergut111 (210), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
