| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 27, 2009 On tap. Quite dark appearance, although not the darkest IPA I’ve seen (that honour goes to Mike Duggan IPA) and very hoppy. Hop addict doesn’t joke around with it’s name. Sadly, it’s slightly unbalanced, malt is not a forbidden fruit in an IPA! DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada

Aroma of piney, citrus hops, with some malt too. Light copper, small custard head. Taste starts off very hoppy, a fine malty backbone soon presents itself. Medium bodied, well balanced between the sweet malt and it’s appreciated bitterness. Really fine example. Kudos to Ralph for inspiring the brewer!
