| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 20, 2009 Bottle. This beer is amber in the glass with medium carbonation and a fluffy two inch head. There’s pine and grassy hops in the aroma with some distant brown bread. The body is medium and smooth. There are thin lines of lace tracing the glass. I taste malty caramel, burnt nuts, plenty of loose black tea with dry slightly bitter hops. Imperial-John (168), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
