MesandSim (4713), Highgate, Greater London, England Sep 1, 2008 A Mes rate: gravicask at Peterborough Beer Festival.
Bright yellow gold with a thin white rim and wery good condition. Pleasant straw and hay aroma with some good citric notes. Very grassy in the mouth with a lovely malt base. Excellent citric bitterness in the finish. Gloriously dry and pleasing mouthfeel. Being used to their high abv brews, this is something new to me; a sessionable and very drinkable beer from Durham. Lovely.
