Similar to the "normal" Duvel, though less of everything. Less aroma, less complex, less fullbodied. If "normal" Duvel is a classic, this is more of a standard brew.

May 8, 2004 Light golden. Pretty bitter, very fulbodied. Strong hop taste and very dry. A nice version of Duvel.

Apr 5, 2004 Gold in colour, nice white head. Aroma of light yeast, citrus, some alcohol. The flavor is lighter than the regular Duvel but still has plenty of yeastyness, citrus, sweetness and carbonation. Very good.

Jan 8, 2004 Looks like an ordinary Duvel, maybe this one is a little pale. A non-homogeneous white head. A lottle of bubbles. Smells alcoholic like the normal Duvel. Bitter flavour. Little salty too.

Nov 23, 2003 Bit pilsener-like aroma; hops, skunky. Sweet. Very pale coloured; yellow. Thin, white head. Sweet, floral taste, bit hoppy and malty. Bitter finish. Far from great.
