Pale hazy yellow with a decent head. Aroma of yeast, grains and some sweetness. Flavour of some yeastiness, malty, some sweetness, bit fruitish. Bit thin but ok beer. Must of course taste better when fresh and not past date. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA

I think every rateable category would take a hit as compared to the more availiable Duvel. Still a decent beer. Thanks Rene drpimento (842), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 6, 2007 label says something about filtration. small bottle. definitely milder than the other bigger Duvel. inferior to it. Not bad, but more of a curiosity. wonder why they make it. stouby (1950), Holbaek, Denmark

Light yellow with a large white head, mostly lasting, excellent lacings. Aroma heavy malty (fruity), moderate yeasty, light hoppy. Flavor heavy sweet, light acidic/bitter. Medium body, light, strong in alcohol. ha1ag (423), Maastricht, Netherlands
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 14, 2007 Bottled, hard to find. Clear filtered color, aroma with some citrus. The 7.5% alcohol is wel hidden. enoyable but not really like the red Duvel ChristianScheffel (4632), Odense, Denmark
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 9, 2007 Clear golden beer with a white head. Grain aroma with a hint of lemon. Sweet grain flavour with way too much alcohol presence. Disappointing - and I like the "real" Duvel. Beer2000 (1828), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 21, 2006 330 ml bottle. Pale and slightly unclear body, strange taking in consideration that this is the filtered version of the famous red Duvel. Rather week aroma at first, getting better after a few more sniffs. Flavor is more neutral than the red, but still the alcoholic warmth. The finish has a certain musty cellar flavor, that’s nice, but I prefer the red. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 11, 2006 From the bottle in Brussels. Tastes very similar to the other Duvel. This one was not as dry and a bit more fruity tasting. Light apple flavor develops with a crisp citrus finish. Enjoyable brew that doesn’t taste as strong as normal duvel.
